MoRUS - Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space Website view on different devices

Back in 2012 MoRUS, what is today a volunteer-run small history museum of grassroots activism in East Village, was just an empty storefront waiting to be renovated on the 1st floor of the old C-Squat building. Two activists, passionate about East Village history decided to create here a “Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space.”

They contacted me to help them establishing the future museum’s brand and website. Although today, I am less involved, I am proud to say that I was the first volunteer of this organization and remained an active volunteer for the first two years of its young existence. During that time, I worked on:

  • The museum’s branding
  • Promotional flyers for special events
  • Management of their domain name, hosting and WordPress website
  • Creation of a custom and responsive WordPress Theme

Today, I am still providing support for their volunteer based team who are in charge of updating the contents of their WordPress website.
